The hope of reunion between Prince Harry and King Charles has supposedly peaked after the latter’s plane touched down in London.

Reports say some Duke of Sussex fans think his arrival would lead to the reunion they hope for.

The monarch, who was enjoying his traditional summer holidays in Royal Deeside, was seen boarding a flight from Aberdeen Airport earlier today.

At the same time, the father of two is in London, attending events for several charities whose causes he champions.

According to reports, the 40-year-old is expected to stay in the UK at least until Thursday, as a source previously told The Mirror, “As Harry has stated before, he’d love to see his family and be reconciled.”

If the meeting occurs, it will be the first time the father-son duo has met in over a year. Moreover, the ongoing treatment of the 76-year-old for his cancer also added urgency on Harry’s part to mend ties with him and his brother.

Weighing in on this, Ingrid Seward, a royal expert and author of My Mother and I, told Newsweek, “My opinion is that Harry desperately needs the stardust of meeting his father. He needs the glow of being the king’s son to shine on him.”

She continued, “I think Harry would be very keen to meet his father, and as a parent, I would think Charles would probably like to see him.”

“Because Charles isn’t seeing his grandchildren, that must be really sad for him, and if a meeting can be arranged without too much drama, he will see Harry,” the author concluded.
